Provided that the different types of automatic protection are enabled, the icon will be displayed in the Windows taskbar (next to the system clock).
If you right-click this icon, a menu with the following options is displayed:
Open . This option opens the window.
Start self-diagnosis. When this option is selected, will inform you on the current level of protection. This level is based on how updated the program is, as well as on the status of each of the automatic protections (enabled, disabled, not installed, or error). The level of protection is displayed by means of a status bar in the Status menu screen.
Update: Allows you to perform an update at any time.
Block network connections. This allows you to temporarily suspend all communication with the Internet, in case of emergency. If you have blocked network connections, this option will appear as Unblock network connections, and will allow you to re-establish network communications. Refer to the section Blocking all network connections for more information.
Log off the Internet (user name): it is displayed once users identify themselves on the web content filter, by entering a user name and a password. By clicking on this option, users will be able to close their Internet sessions.
News. It allows you to subscribe to each of the information services. It also allows you to access archives with all the news published previously. You will receive IT security news right on your desktop. You will obtain up-to-date information about the latest news on IT security, automatic alerts, real-time information, etc.
Online. They allow you to access certain areas on the website, where you will find useful information.
View files in quarantine. This option will only be displayed if the main console is closed. Clicking it will open the main window to display the Quarantine area.
Close automatic protection. When you click this option the automatic protection will be disabled and the message will appear asking for confirmation. If you click Yes, the automatic protection will be immediately disabled and the icon will disappear from the Windows taskbar (next to the system clock).
